Meeting Summary

This session began with an update on the website transition timeline, including reminders about the August 15 migration target, January 15, 2027 legacy site shutdown, redirect cleanup, and the April 2027 Title II accessibility deadline. We also highlighted several recent CMS enhancements, including improvements to mobile hero banners and the new Accordion Snippet.

The remainder of the session featured our first Website Show & Tell, where web editors showcased creative and effective uses of Modern Campus components across departmental websites. We reviewed examples of tabs, accordions, people directories, transparent images, research pages, course listings, and other layouts, discussing what made them successful and how others can apply similar techniques. We also shared best practices for image optimization, accessibility, and writing effective alt text, previewed upcoming CMS enhancements, and concluded with an open Q&A.
