Snippets (Layouts & Page Sections)
What are Snippets?
Snippets are reusable layout and content building blocks that help you assemble pages more efficiently in Modern Campus CMS. Think of snippets as pre-built page sections — pieces of a page you can insert, customize, and move on.
Snippets help keep your site consistent, accessible, and aligned with Stony Brook’s
design standards, especially when building structured page layouts.
Page Layouts
Start by selecting a layout to structure your page. Layouts define how content is organized—such as full-width sections or multiple columns—and provide the foundation for building your page.
Content Blocks & Page Sections
Use content blocks (components) to add and format content within your layouts. These include text, images, tabs, highlights, and other structured elements designed to meet Stony Brook’s branding and accessibility standards.
Data & Tables
Use these components to display structured data such as tables and statistics. They
are designed to improve readability, maintain consistency, and support accessibility
standards.
