A-Z Card Directory
The A–Z Card Directory snippet displays a collection of cards organized alphabetically, with an alphabet toolbar so users can quickly browse or find entries.
Unlike the A–Z Link Directory, each entry in the card directory supports richer content — title, description with image option, and an optional URL. Entries are sorted by a separate keyword column, which gives you control over how each card is filed alphabetically regardless of how the title is worded.

When to Use This Snippet
- Program or service directories where a short description (or image) adds useful context
- Resource catalogs with varied or complex titles
- Glossaries or reference indexes
- Any directory where a name alone isn't enough to describe the entry
How to Use
- Insert the A–Z Card Directory snippet onto your page via the snippet menu
- The snippet table will appear in the editor with four columns: Keyword, Title, Description, and URL
- Enter one item per row — Keyword and Title are required, Description and URL are optional
- The Keyword column controls which letter section the card appears under — use the primary word you want it filed by
- The Title column is what displays on the card as the main label or link text
- After publish, the snippet handles all sorting and layout automatically
Tips
- The Keyword and Title can be the same if your title starts with the word you want it filed under
- Use the Keyword column to file entries under a different letter than their title starts with — for example, keyword "Financial Aid" files under F even if the title is "Apply for Aid"
- Leave the URL column empty if you want a card to display as plain text with no link
- When copying and pasting content from external sources, clear the text format to avoid insert invisible characters that break the content
