    About the Program

    The CAU International Summer Program (ISP) is a hybrid program providing students with a window into Korea coupled with courses and cultural experiences that foster understanding of Korean culture and society.CAU welcomes students from around the world to enjoy various courses covering Korean culture and society as well as earning major course credits from overseas professors specialized in Asia and Korea in subjects ranging from Business, Social Sciences, International Relations, and Korean Language. Courses will be offered by some of the top faculty at CAU, as well as from top universities from all over the world. Students will have numerous cultural and experiential activities diving right into Korean culture and making lasting friendships with fellow international students and local CAU students.Students will be able to choose the session they wish to take according to their home universities academic calendar and the classes they want to take.

    Living Arrangements Chung-Ang University offers free-housing.
    Additional Information A Partner University program is a study abroad experience where students are nominated/accepted by Stony Brook University, and enroll at a partner institution. In most cases SBU faculty or staff are NOT traveling with participants.
    Program Housing Statement: Stony Brook University is required to comply with the housing policies of the host country, partner institution and/or hotel/hostel. These policies may include requirements such as sex-based housing placement.

    Application Deadline March 1 Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis, and are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
    Candidates may be interviewed to determine their qualifications for participating and representing Stony Brook University abroad.

    Grades earned in an partner university program   WILL NOT  calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.

    Non-SBU students must contact their home university regarding their grade and credit transfer policy.
