Sister Mary - Accounting & Finance

The College of Business proudly celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of Sister Mary, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, specializing in Finance with a minor in Real Estate & Insurance.

Sister Mary’s academic achievements speak for themselves. She completed the Business Honors Program, earned the CoB Academic Excellence in Finance Award, and presented her research at URECA, Stony Brook University’s annual celebration of undergraduate research and creative activity — reflecting both her scholarly dedication and her drive to contribute to the broader academic community.

Her intellectual curiosity extended beyond the classroom as well. As a member of a winning team at the Healthcare Innovation Hackathon, Sister Mary demonstrated the kind of creative, cross-disciplinary thinking that defines tomorrow’s business leaders.

Sister Mary’s impact on campus life was equally impressive. As Vice President of the Real Estate Institute Club, she helped foster a community of students passionate about the real estate and insurance industries. Through her role as VP of Residential Affairs for the Residential Hall Association and her membership in the National Residence Hall Honorary, she showed a deep commitment to student life and community well-being. She also served on the CoB Student Advisory Board and was recognized as a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor society for accounting, finance, and information systems.

We are proud of all that Sister Mary has accomplished and look forward to the impact she will make in the world of business.
