Jennifer Carter holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Stony Brook University in Philosophy, a B.A. in Philosophy and Mathematics from University of California, Santa Cruz, and a certificate in Philosophy and the Arts from Stony Brook University. Along with her major research focus in phenomenology, feminist philosophy, and philosophy of science and technology, she develops highly student-accessible courses in business ethics and logical and critical reasoning. She brings an interdisciplinary focus to her courses, incorporating a broad understanding of ethics, including continental and historical approaches and social and cognitive psychology.
