    About the Program

    Experience Korea while attending regular academic courses in English or Korean, and learning Korean language. This is a great opportunity for global networking as well. Credits earned at CNU (min. 3 - 18 credits) are transferable under the regulations of home university 

    More Information:

    • Exemption from tuition and other associate fees of CNU
    • Free on-campus accommodation
    • Special Scholarship: 1,000,000 KW (Approx. USD 900 / Deposited upon arrival)
    • Korean Language Class (Optional): Intensive or Regular class
    • Regular class (Full support): Total 60 class hours for 10 weeks
    • Intensive class (50% off from the regular fee) : Regular fee 1,300,000 KW

    Program Housing Statement: Stony Brook University is required to comply with the housing policies of the host country, partner institution and/or hotel/hostel. These policies may include requirements such as sex-based housing placement.

    Additional Information

    Grades earned in a Partner University Program   WILL NOT   calculate towards the cumulative GPA for SBU students.

    Candidates may be interviewed to determine their qualifications for participating and representing Stony Brook University abroad.

    Application Fee $60
    Tuition Rate $ 3,435 per semester for NY residents

    $12,270 per semester for non-residents
    Program Fee $750 per semester
    Administrative Fee $200 (non-refundable)
    International Health Insurance $55 per month approximately. Note: The host university may also require a domestic health plan, and will send details regarding costs to students directly. $1,000-$2,500 (approximately; Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university)
    Other Fees $1,000-$2,500 (approximately; Students pay room, board, books, transportation and other university fees directly to overseas university)
    Travel Costs $1,500 (approximately; Students are responsible for their travel arrangements including airfare, visa costs)
    Costs are estimates for planning purposes of the student and are subject to change at any point.
