This News Feed component pulls content from any valid rss or xml url. 

If you need a feed from Stony Brook News (news.stonybrook.edu) please use this news componet. 

How to Configure the News Feed

After adding the General RSS Feed component to your page, you can customize it using the following options:

Article Count

• Choose a 3-8 stories to display

RSS Feed

• Enter a valid rss or xml url to the URL feed field. 

Link to More Stories (Optional)

• You can link to a full listing of stories by pointing to a URL
• Example: linking to a main news page allows users to view all related stories beyond what is shown in the feed
