Tips for a Successful Delivery

Is your package addressed correctly and include the following?

  • Full Name of someone in the directory
  • Addressed to 100 Nicolls Rd., Central Receiving
  • PO #
  • Building name/ Room # (especially if there is no PO)
  • If your package is going direct to your building, you must have a name, building, and room number.  NOT CENTRAL RECEIVING
  • 4-digit zip for any USPS items.

Do you know the dimensions of your package?

    • Is this delivery oversized?
    • Have you measured all door openings to ensure the delivery will fit through ALL the doorways it needs to get to its final destination.
  • Do you need this delivery un-crated or set up? – This may require white glove service or direct delivery and is not done by Central Receiving.
  • Is there special equipment needed to move the item due to weight or size?

Do you know where to find your package once it’s delivered?

  • Does your building have a central mail room or package drop area/table?
  • If you cannot locate your package and you need to contact Central Receiving or Mail Services, you must have the following…
  • Wolfmart PO #
  • Tracking # from carrier
  • Did you already track the package on the carrier’s website (FedEx, UPS, USPS)?
  • Have you checked with any student assistants or colleagues that may share the space?
