ORGAN DONOR LEAVE
STATE EMPLOYEES
UUP/MC/CSEA/PEF/PBANYS(APSU)/NYSCOPBA
Up to thirty (30) days paid leave to serve as an organ donor. An employee is required to give at least 14 days prior written notice, unless there is a medical emergency attested to by a physician.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible at the time of hire.
Next Steps
Letter from the medical provider's office on letterhead confirming the employee has been an organ donor on a certain day can be faxed or emailed to the hrs_timeatt@stonybrook.edu.
