RF OPEN ENROLLMENT  

The Research Foundation for SUNY’s annual Open Enrollment period has begun and will run through November 30, 2022. 

As previously announced, effective January 1, 2023, Empire Blue Cross will be the administrator for the medical plan replacing UMR (United Healthcare).  There are no changes to the benefit plan, only the health plan administrator has changed.  If you do not make any changes to your medical plan coverage for 2023 you will be placed in the same plan at the same coverage level as you had in 2022.  You will receive new ID cards from Empire in the mail prior to January 1^st.

If you wish to make changes to your current benefits, cancel coverage or newly enroll, you may do so by logging into the RF Employee Self Service Portal or you can submit the paper form to Human Resources.
