Interests: Social History of Disease and psychosurgery in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century USA
My research focus is the social implications of disease and psychosurgery in the United States from the 19th century to the 21st. I am particularly interested in evolving relationships between disease, patient, and practitioner. My ultimate research goals are to uncover marginalized or misrepresented perspectives using social and cultural methodologies.
