History Graduate Student Association
The History Graduate Student Association (HGSA)'s goal is to serve the graduate community of Stony Brook's History Department. Organized by and for the graduate students themselves, it hosts a variety of professional, academic, and social opportunities each semester. Recent activities include professional development workshops, library research orientations, museum field trips, an annual graduate student conference, and friendly gatherings.
Annual Graduate Student Conference
The HGSA has hosted an annual interdisciplinary graduate conference since 2017. The conference features the work of graduate scholars from universities across the globe. It is held every year in the Spring. Check out the HGSA conference page for more information on this year's conference.
