Throughout the year, the Provost's Office hosts a series of sessions, workshops, and programs to support new faculty as they adjust to their new roles and Stony Brook's culture, and learn to how to take advantage of everything the campus has to offer.
These sessions are designed to expand on topics covered during new faculty orientation.
In addition to these sessions, we encourage new faculty to participate in events hosted by their academic units and other areas of the university.
DoIT has tech tools to help you do lead and manage your classes. An overview of what it's like to be an SBU faculty member. Your department has its own processes too. As a community, we're committed to helping each other succeed. CELT will help you refine and continue to improve as an instructor.
