New Faculty Programming

Navigating SBU is a year-long program to help you learn Stony Brook's systems and build your network as a Seawolf

Please join us for any and all of the sessions, as your schedule and interests allow. These sessions exist entirely to help you expand your network, discover campus resources, exchange ideas, and connect with your peers. We look forward to seeing you.

This full-day, in-person program will help you get a feel for your new campus community and what it means to be a Stony Brook faculty member.

Over the course of the program, you will:
  • Learn about the university's history and our students,
  • Explore resources that will support your teaching and research/scholarship,
  • Hear about student success and faculty well-being programs,
  • Meet your new colleagues.
Lunch will be provided.

Check your email for more information and a link to reserve your spot.

For tenure-track faculty only.
