LEAVE FOR THE SCREENING OF ALL CANCERS
CANCER SCREENING LEAVE
With supervisory approval, State and RF employees are entitled to take up to four (4) hours total (not per screening) of paid leave without charge to leave credits annually for the screening of all cancers.
Cancer screening includes physical exams, blood work or other laboratory tests for the detection of cancer. Medical documentation is required in Human Resources that indicates the employee’s absence was for the purpose of cancer screening.
ELIGIBILITY:
State and RF employees are eligible at the time of hire.
NEXT STEPS:
A letter from the medical provider's office on letterhead confirming the employee was seen on a certain day for a cancer screening can be faxed or emailed to HR as follows:
