UPCOMING EXPIRATION: 2022 ANNUAL LEAVE CAP EXTENSION

The Governor’s office previously announced in this memo that the extension of the annual leavecap will expire December 31, 2022, for all unions as well as Management/Confidential (M/C) employees. The expiration also applies to Research Foundation (RF) employees.

In anticipation of this upcoming expiration date, and consistent with operational needs, employees should plan to schedule time off by December 31, 2022 in an effort to avoid this forfeiture of time in excess of 40 days in January 2023.

We hope that by giving you this reminder in advance of the summer months, you can plan to take some time off to decompress and balance all of your hard work with time away from work.
