BUDDY PROGRAM
The Buddy Program at Stony Brook University pairs experienced employees with new hires to help ease their transition, increase engagement, and foster a sense of community. Buddies play a key role in welcoming and supporting a new team member.

Health Sciences and School of Medicine employees are now eligible to participate in the Hospital’s STAR Rewards Program, a well-established recognition initiative that makes it easy for colleagues to appreciate one another with cards of appreciation, called STAR Cards.
