How to View Available Appointments and Drop-ins on Navigate

  1. Log into Navigate
  2. Select "Appointments"
  3. Select "Get Advising and Tutoring"
  4. Select "Advising"
  5. Select "Academic and Transfer Advising Services"
  6. Select "Find Available Appointment Time"
Appointments are offered either in person or virtuall via Zoom. Students should be logging into virtual appointments through their Stony Brook account on Zoom.

Appointment availability is posted every Friday for the upcoming week. If you do not see any available appointments, please refer to drop-in advising.

  1. Visit us in Suite 105, Stony Brook Union.
  2. Bring your Student ID card.
  3. Check in with the front desk.

Drop-ins are on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times can vary.

  1. Log into Navigate
  2. Select "Get Advising or Tutoring" (mobile users click "Appointments" icon first)
  3. Select "View Drop-In Times" on the right
  4. Select "Academic and Transfer Advising DROP-INS" under "Select a Service Department" or "Advising Unit"
  5. Select "Find Available Times"
  6. Select location "Academic and Transfer Advising Services (VIRTUAL)"
  7. Select "Check in with the first available advisor"
Once checked in, you will see a confirmation message. Please monitor your Stony Brook email for a Zoom link from the first available advisor.
