"I'm Derrick (he/him/his) and I'm a third year graduate student studying Occupational Therapy. I am a Center Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. I went to Stony Brook for my undergraduate as well and have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I collaborate with and get to know lots of other departments on campus and am a COTAD committee member within the Student Occupational Therapy Association. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is getting to know everyone on our team and the communities. I learn a lot and love a lot. Fun Fact: I love leaves and I have a growing collection of them."
" My name is Jeff and I use he/him or they/them pronouns. I'm a Senior Adolescent Education in English student. I am a Center Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is having the chance to work in a place that is dedicated to educating, celebrating, and advocating for LGBTQ* folks like myself. The folks who work here are all exceptional, diverse, and delightful! Fun fact: My career for the past seven year has been working as a drag queen!"
"I'm Jesse. I use he/him/his pronouns. I'm a Center Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. I am in my s econd year as a Masters of Social Work student. What I like about working with LGBTQ* Services is that the Center is such a welcoming and affirming place that is continuously trying to make the community a better and safer place for LGBTQ* identifying folks. Fun Fact: I'm a flamingo loving dude who loves the color pink."
" I am a Senior Biochemistry major on the Pre Med track. I am a Programming Intern. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is meeting and interacting with so many great and interesting people as well as educating myself and learning more about the community. Fun fact: I’m a powerlifter (beat the state record and will compete sometime in the future once I can beat the world record). "
"Hi, I'm Leydiann and I'm a Biology major. What I Like About Working for LGBTQ* Services is being able to participate in maintaining a safe space for the LGBTQ* community on campus, and getting to help out new people every day. Fun Fact: My favorite animal are upside down jellyfish"!
"I am a Junior Psychology major . I work as a Programming Intern at LGBTQ* Services. My favorite part of being an intern with LGBTQ* Services is that I’m able to foster a community of inclusivity and learn new skills. I love to meet new and wonderful people and the team at the LGBTQ* Center is so welcoming and friendly! It truly is such a great experience here. Fun fact: I love theatre! Belting show tunes in my room is my favorite pastime."

"I'm a Junior with majors in Coastal Environmental Studies and Philosophy. I am an Undergraduate Intern. I like working for LGBTQ* Services because I love everyone that comes in and hangs out in the Center (virtual and in-person!) as well as the amazing people I work with. I feel that we contribute to a lot of important things on campus, such as talking about important social issues, advocating for others, and celebrating our differences. I love the work I do and the people I’ve met through the Center! Fun Fact: I have 7 super loud parakeets and only one of them loves me."
"I am a third-year undergraduate majoring in Political Science. Outside of my role with LGBTQ* Services, I serve as an Incoming Transfer Assistant with the Association of Transfer Students and as a Campus Organizer with the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU). When I'm free, I enjoy getting a nice cup of coffee or playing video games with friends."

"My name is Winnie and I am a Junior Psychology major and a Health and Wellness minor. I work as one of the Undergraduate Staff. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is that I get to be a part of a welcoming community that encourages you to be yourself. A fun fact about me is that I have owned a rabbit and four hamsters before (not at the same time)! Also, I can play Mary Had A Little Lamb on the recorder!"
