" My name is Amanda and I use they/them or she/her pronouns. I'm a 2 nd -Year MSW Student with a specialization in Community, Policy, and Political Social Action. I am Graduate Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is being able to spend my time working in and for a space that I love and that values all identities. Fun fact: I love tattoos! I have somewhere over 30 tattoos!"
"Hey, it's May! I use Siya and any english pronouns. I'm a Graduate Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. I am in my Second year as a Masters of Public Health student, with a concentration in community health. What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is sharing space and community with people of multiple intersecting identities! Fun Fact: I keep a plant in the center named Scarlett Johansson in honor of my favorite Asian American Actress.Hi
"I'm Derrick (he/him/his) and I'm a graduate student studying Occupational Therapy. I am a Graduate Coordinator for LGBTQ* Services. I went to Stony Brook for my undergraduate as well and has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am in my fifth year of being a Resident Assistant (RA) and am quite well versed on things and resources on campus. For fun I like to explore and go on adventures. I love to smell flowers and enjoys leaves, will eat almost anything, and usually have music playing in my head."

My favorite part about working here is g etting to meet and interact with so many incredible people of the LGBTQ* community. I have a pet turtle named Susan, whom I love very much."

My name is Winnie and I am a second year Psychology major. I work as a Center Staff Assistant.What I like about working for LGBTQ* Services is that I get to be a part of a welcoming community that encourages you to be yourself. A fun fact about me is that I have owned a rabbit and four hamsters before (not at the same time)! Also, I can play Mary Had A Little Lamb on the recorder!

Hi! My name is Jordan (or Jo) and I use she/her/hers pronouns. I'm a senior at Stony Brook University majoring in Women and Gender Studies, minoring in Health, Medicine, and Society. A fun fact about me is that I love talking about alternative aesthetics, especially body modifications (I have 10 piercings and counting!!). If you ever see me in the center don't be afraid to stop and chat, I swear I'm friendlier than I look.

My interest include Ender’s Game and Aminé. Fun fact would be that I lived in the Dominican Republic for around five years after I was born in the US.

Nicolas Pennisi (he/him, they/them) is a Junior Journalism major. When he's not hanging out in the center, you can find him on Resident Assistant duty, working in The Statesman office as Assistant Multimedia Editor, or singing with the Stony Brook Vocalists. Nico's favorite party trick is throwing his legs behind his head. If you spot him around, he'll be more than happy to show you.
MALIHA RISHATShe/Her/Hers Major: Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Major: Information Systems
I am a senior majoring in Women's and Gender Studies, and Information Systems. I love traveling, though I rarely get to do so. Searching for good food is also a great passion of mine. If you see me at the center and you would like to hang out, I am always happy to play one of the center's many card and/or board games with you all! We can also talk books, movies, TV shows, or anything you can think of!

My name is Alexis Rosas. I am a Health Science and Biology double major. I am the President of the best community service organization, Circle K International. I'm from Yonkers, NY (not upstate!).
TREY SHIMIZUHe/Him/His Major: Biology Minor: Studio Art
I was born and raised in Southern California and I’m a Biology major, Studio Art minor, and on the Pre-Veterinary track. In my free time, I enjoy doing ceramics, 3D modeling, and going to concerts, especially to see the acapella group, Pentatonix.
Alyssa Thomas is a senior majoring in English and Sociology. Her favorite SBU tradition would be Midnight Scream, when the entire student body lets out their stress and frustration the night before finals week by screaming together (not at each other). Alyssa is an active member of the campus community, including serving as president of the Residence Hall Association.

Will is currently a senior at Stony Brook pursuing 2 degrees and a minor. He has worked with LGBTQ* Services for two years; first as a Programming Intern and now as an Undergraduate Assistant. After he graduates with his Bachelors he hopes to move off Long Island and become a graphic designer. Work and school aside, he loves watching movies, playing video games (Katamari Damacy and Animal Crossing are his favorites), and going to diners with friends!
