Meals for Ramadan

 West & East Side Dine-In and Halal NY

For our Guests observing Ramadan, please speak to a manager, in a RED Shirt, at East Side or West Side Dine-In if you’d like to take a meal with you the night before. We will provide breakfast and grab n’ go items.

All of our boneless chicken products are certified Halal. Halal hamburgers and hot dogs available upon request at the Grill.

Milk and dates will also be available.

Halal NY will adjust hours to 12pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

Make Your Own Hummus

Guest Chef Series

Evan Hanczor

Menu:

  • Roasted winter squash with kale and freekah salad, spiced yogurt and herb sauce
  • Southern style collards and beans with cornbread and a poached egg
  • Late-winter panzanella with focaccia, roasted beets, feta, herbs and pickled onions

 

About the chef:

“The story behind the food was powerful. Things I cared about intersected through food. Physical, creative and aesthetic elements came together and nagged a bigger issue that was important to me.”

That is Evan Hanczor’s philosophy behind food⁠—sustainable food, in particular.

Hanczor grew up cooking with his dad and moved to New Orleans for college, where his culinary passion evolved. The thriving flavors of the city inspired Hanczor. Evan Hanczor is the longtime chef of Egg restaurant in Brooklyn and Tokyo, and the new Little Egg opening spring of 2023 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He is the founder of Tables of Contents, an arts organization that creates unique experiences and gatherings at the intersections of food and art, and is the creator and editor of the Tables of Contents Community Cookbook.
