Travel Signature

You must have a valid travel signature on your Form DS-2019 to re-enter the United States.

Where to Find Your Travel Signature

Your travel signature is located on page 1 of your DS-2019, in the lower-right section.

• The signature is valid for:
  • Up to 1 year from the date it was signed, or
  • Until your program end date, whichever comes first

When You Need a New Travel Signature

You may need to request a new travel signature if:

• Your current signature has expired, or
• Your signature will expire before you return to the U.S.
  
  

How to Request a Travel Signature

1. Log into accessVIS
2. Submit the Travel Signature Request eForm
3. After review, you will:
   • Schedule an appointment, or
   • Receive an updated DS-2019 electronically
