Pre-Ceremony To-Do List

Get your tickets and share them with your guests. You don't need tickets, but your guests do or they won't be able to enter the Arena. Ticket information will be shared by the University Commencement Staff soon.
Plan your outfit. It gets warm in there, so please dress accordingly. Also, please be aware that candidates will have to stand for about half an hour during the pre-ceremony line-up and climb up a few steps to get to the stage. We therefore encourage everyone to wear comfortable shoes. If you have mobility concerns, please see a staff member.
Prepare your regalia. It will arrive wrinkled so you will want to take it out of the bag as soon as you get it.
Arrange to arrive by 4:00 pm. Allow yourself time to park and walk to the venue and to get yourself checked in. Follow the signs to report to the robing area. Please arrive on time because we are checking in 180 people and we want to get the ceremony started on time.
Check-in for professional photographs. Photographers will be on hand to to take 2-3 pictures of you as you walk across the stage. By registering with the photographer in advance, you will save time during check-in and will get your proofs quickly and accurately (usually by the next day).

Complete the QR Selfie Check-inand provide your address to see the proofs. You can also have your proofs sent to friends and loved ones. You'll receive a registration number to put on your reader card.
