2020 Student Entrepreneur Challenge Winners

The 2020 Stony Brook Student Entrepreneur Challenge prevailed in spite of the COVID-19 shelter-in-place restrictions! 12 SBU student teams presented their business technologies online-conference-style to a panel of judges including serial entrepreneurs, angel investors and economic development professionals.

The following students were awarded:

2nd Place Tied: 

Ripple Band - Wearable Device to Prevent Viral Transmission - $10,000

Scrap-It - Online Platform Connecting Consumers with Junk Haulers - $10,000
