Kimberly is a senior double majoring in Biology and Psychology on the pre-medical track. She currently works in the Department of Pathology in the Cytology Lab at Stony Brook University Hospital, is a Resident Assistant in Roosevelt Community, as well as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry II. Kimberly has been awarded the Paul Licht Teaching Award in Chemistry and the Ana Marie Torres Scholarship for Hispanic/Latino Student Funds. Some of her passions include giving back to the community through mentoring and spreading healthcare advocacy in the Latino community. Kimberly plans on pursuing a medical degree after her undergrad. and has interests in the fields of oncology and cardiology.
