As Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Ellen Broselow focuses on faculty recruitment, mentoring, development, and promotion, working with departments to build the strongest possible support networks for faculty at all levels.
Professor of Physics Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Facilities
Peter Stephens came to the Physics Department (now Physics & Astronomy) at Stony Brook in 1980, where he is now Professor. Besides his current work as Associate Dean of CAS for Academic Affairs and Facilities, he has taught courses ranging from The Physics of Musical Sound to Graduate Electrodynamics, and supervised eight PhD theses.
Debra Sabatini Dwyer
Professor in the Center for Inequalities, Social Justice and Policy Assistant Dean for Research and Strategic Planning
Debra Sabatini Dwyer is a health and labor economist who has taught economics and public policy, as well as research and teaching methods, in many colleges within Stony Brook University; most recently in the department of Technology and Society in the College of Engineering. Prior to Stony Brook, Dr. Dwyer was an economist in the Division of Economic Research, Office of Research Evaluation and Statistics, at the U.S. Social Security Administration. Her current research focuses on market failures and evaluation of the health care sector in the US.
College of Arts and Sciences Assistant Dean for Advancement
Rebecca provides direction and oversight to the College's Advancement Office. In conjunction with the University Advancement Office, the College Advancement Office works to build relationships with alumni and friends engaging them in the work of the College and providing opportunities to use their resources to advance the mission of the College.

As Assistant Dean for Budget, Ming Huang's responsibilities include the financial management and budget development for the college’s financial resources.
Edward J. McFadden
College of Arts and Sciences Assistant Dean for Operations
Edward J. McFadden has been in working in higher education administration for more than twenty-five years. He has served as Assistant Dean for Operations for the College of Arts and Sciences for fourteen years. His areas of responsibility include: maintenance and facilities, procurement, technology, space management and planning.
College of Arts and Sciences Communications Manager
Rachel Rodriguez brings a wealth of experience in copywriting, marketing, social media and public relations to her role as Communications Manager at the College of Arts & Sciences. She has experience on both the agency and corporate side, including industrial, technology, healthcare and optical industries. Rachel holds a BS in Public Relations and Journalism from Utica College of Syracuse University, and a MA in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury.
