PORT JEFFERSON/SBU SHUTTLE
The Port Jefferson/SBU shuttle is back, and is now managed by MAPS! Shuttle service
provides a continuous service loop between the Village of Port Jefferson and Stony
Brook University.
The shuttle is available free of charge for current Stony Brook Students who display
a valid SBU ID.
WEEKEND SHOPPING
Current Stony Brook University students with a valid ID are eligible to take SBU shuttles on Sundays to visit local shopping locations including Walmart, Target and Stop & Shop.

SUFFOLK TRANSIT CONNECTION
The Suffolk Transit Connection is a transportation service provided to current Stony Brook University students who are interested in traveling between SBU and local, off-campus area destinations for food, shopping and recreational activities.
The service is provided through a partnership between Stony Brook University and Suffolk County, and is a sustainable transportation solution only available to current Stony Brook University students who hold a valid Stony Brook University identification card.

LONG ISLAND RAILROAD
SBU Shuttles are scheduled to adhere closely to the MTA's Long Island Rail Road arrival and departure times, picking up and dropping off passengers near the North Parking Lot bus stop (campus side of the station).
Enhanced Shuttle service is provided during anticipated peak LIRR usage, such as the beginning and end of semesters, Friday afternoons, and holidays.

Stony Brook University is coordinating free bus transportation to campus on select dates and times for undergraduate and graduate students.
