HOW TO USE THE NEW PARKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

- Click the "login" button on the parking portal home page.
- Using your NetID, log in to the system.
- Once successfully logged in, the default view is your account page. Click on "Order Permits" towards the bottom of the page.
- Agree to the "Terms of Service." Read and click "Confirm."
- Select your permit, or add your name to the waiting list for your selected permit type.
- Select your vehicle(s) or click "Add Vehicle." Then enter your vehicle information and confirm.
- Click "Add Permit to Cart" then after confirming your information is correct click "Checkout."
- Your transaction is complete when you see a receipt transaction number on the screen and at least one (1) permit and one (1) vehicle on the account in the left navigation on the screen.

The system will only show permits for which you have the rights to register and are available. For example, a commuter student will only see commuter student parking options. From there it is up to you which type of permit you’d like to get. Permits that are sold out will not show up in the system.
Enrolling in automatic payroll deductions is a great way to set up your parking and not worry about making monthly payments. Your permit will automatically renew each payroll period until the point you cancel it. The cost of the permit is split over 26 payroll periods for annual employees and 21 payroll periods for 9-month employees.
Virtual permits is a fancy way of saying you no longer need a hang tag for your vehicle! Your vehicle license plate will be the proof that you have access to your assigned parking locations.
If you have a parking permit, you must register your vehicle. With virtual permitting, the license plate is proof that the vehicle is assigned to a parking location.
It is easy to add a vehicle to your permit on the parking portal. You can also add temporary vehicles if you have to drive a different vehicle to campus (e.g., rental, Grandma’s car, etc.)
You should register when your garage phase begins, e.g., Administration Garage parkers should follow Phase 2. Keep and continue to display your current hang tag until you’ve registered your vehicle.
You will need to apply for a Faculty/Staff permit and continue to also display your Special Services Permit outside designated Faculty/Staff parking areas.
With the transition to virtual permitting, individuals are required to have a readable license plate and it must face towards the drive aisle.
If an individual has a temporary tag, they should enter the vehicle in the system with the temporary tag numbers. The vehicle plate can be changed by Parking Services staff once the valid license plate is obtained.
