Biography
Nick Nikiforakis' research focuses primarily on web security and privacy. He is the director of the PragSec lab (Pragmatic Security) and, together with his students, he conducts research in domain security, online tracking, and cyber crime. He often conducts large-scale security measurements, spanning hundreds of thousands of websites and applications, allowing him to quantify the state of security across different countries and sectors. He designs pragmatic security mechanisms that can be readily adopted by users, and uncovers issues that other researchers have, for years, overlooked.
