Graduate Scholarship Opportunities

 **The Graduate scholarship is offered during the Spring Semesters.**

The Center for Korean Studies is pleased to announce graduate scholarship opportunities in Korean Studies. This scholarship aims to encourage graduate-level research and dialogues on Korea-related topics at Stony Brook University. $3,000 will be awarded per recipient and two positions are open for Spring 2021. The positions are renewable upon review. The scholarship awardees will be invited to an undergraduate seminar in Korean Studies to present their research.

Eligibility

  • Full-time MA or Ph.D. students currently enrolled in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and arts in Stony Brook University. 
  • Students whose main research project includes topics related to Korea. 
  • International students are also eligible.

  • Unofficial school transcript
  • A recommendation letter from the primary academic adviser
