Seventh Annual Undergraduate Asian Studies Research Conference

The Seventh Annual Undergraduate Asian Studies Research Conference is a one-day, interdisciplinary event for undergraduate students from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. The conference is an opportunity for students to meet others with an interest in Asia and to develop their presentation skills in a supportive setting. This year's conference will be hosted by Professor Patrick J. Caffrey, Department of History, Washington & Jefferson College.

The Center for Korean Studies highly encourages the Korean Studies minors to submit proposals to the conference. If you are interested in applying for the conference, please contact one of the Korean Studies faculty who can advise your research and go over your proposal before submitting it. The Center will support those whose proposals were selected by the conference with the expenses for travel, meals and accommodation.

Proposals are due by March 9th, 2019 here: https://goo.gl/forms/UhE9Cc11xhNzaijb2

The conference will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019.

Additional information can be found in the flyer below or by contacting Professor Caffrey at pcaffrey@washjeff.edu
