NSLI-Y (National Security Language Initiative for Youth) Summer Immersion for Korean Language and Culture

With the support of the US Department of State and the American Councils for International Education, the Center for Korean Studies has implemented a six-week summer immersion program titled, “NSLI-Y Summer Immersion for Korean Language and Culture” since 2015. This program brings highly motivated high school students who are nationally selected to Songdo Korea every summer and immerse them into Korean life. This six-week, intensive Korean immersion program consists of daily real-life experiences, cultural activities, excursions, task-based projects, as well as daily Korean language instructions.
