These selections focus on whole, naturally flavorful and nutritious foods. They are also committed to adopting sustainable food service practices.  With on campus composting, Freight Farm, herb garden beds, reusable bags and corn straws, they are well on their way to achieving that goal.

Campus Recreation and Wellness Center

Located between the Stony Brook Student Union and the Indoor Sports Complex, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center is devoted to the health and wellness of Stony Brook students, faculty and staff.  It has become the center of activity on campus, averaging more than 2,000 users daily.


Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program at Stony Brook University is a confidential assessment, referral and consultation service available at no cost to faculty, staff, graduate student employees, retirees and their dependents.

The Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path is Stony Brook University's comprehensive bike path system that provides students, faculty, staff and visitors with a safe, sustainable alternative to travel through the University.

Available to those with a valid Campus Recreation Center Membership, the goal of the Certified Personal Trainer is to educate and empower students and members on how to properly use and incorporate important aspects of fitness and conditioning in their daily life.

As an academic medical center, they believe in sharing what they know, applying it to their work, and constantly learning more. Stony Brook Medicine's Health Education is where you will find up-to-date information on common diseases and conditions.

Southampton Campus Gym

Located across Tuckahoe Road, with an entrance adjacent to the railroad crossing, the Southampton Campus Gym houses basketball,  volleyball, tennis and badminton equipment.

Wolfie Bike-Share

Wolf Ride Bike Share is the University's bike share system that provides students, faculty, staff and visitors with a sustainable, healthy transportation alternative. SBU Wolf Ride Bike Share is operated by the University's Office of Sustainability and is a "per ride" bicycle sharing system that provides users with the ability to travel from one University location to another using a zero emissions form of transportation.
