Campus Dining


CulinArt Signature programs allow the campus community to make choices that they can feel good about. These selections focus on whole, naturally flavorful and nutritious foods. They are also committed to adopting sustainable food service practices.  With on campus composting, Freight Farm, herb garden beds, reusable bags and corn straws, they are well on their way to achieving that goal.

Campus Recreation and Wellness Center

Located between the Stony Brook Student Union and the Indoor Sports Complex, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center is devoted to the health and wellness of Stony Brook students, faculty and staff.  It has become the center of activity on campus, averaging more than 2,000 users daily.

Counseling and Psychological Services

Services include crisis intervention, brief counseling for individuals, couples, and groups; consultation to students, faculty, staff, friends, and parents; medication management; and assistance with referrals to community resources.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program gives free, confidential help to staff, faculty, graduate students, retirees, and their families. They can help with work or personal problems.

The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Class Schedule offers a variety of over 60 group fitness classes each week focusing on a holistic approach to personal well-being.

Campus lactation rooms are specifically dedicated for the purpose of offering a quiet, comfortable, and private space for breastfeeding parents to express breastmilk during the hours they spend on campus.

As an academic medical center, they believe in sharing what they know, applying it to their work, and constantly learning more. Southampton Campus Gym

Located across Tuckahoe Road, with an entrance adjacent to the railroad crossing, the Southampton Campus Gym houses basketball,  volleyball, tennis and badminton equipment.

Wolfie Bike-Share

Wolf Ride Bike Share is the University’s bike share system that offers students, faculty, staff, and visitors a sustainable and healthy transportation option. Operated by the University’s Office of Sustainability, Wolf Ride is a per-ride bicycle sharing program that allows users to travel between campus locations using zero-emission transportation.
