ON AND OFF CAMPUS

The Stony Brook University campus offers more than 1,400 park-like acres and a wide range of activities that will enrich your college experience. The Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path, six miles of pristine pavement for walking, biking, running, and rollerblading, encircles the campus. More than 400 clubs and organizations give students the opportunity to enjoy virtually any activity with fellow Seawolves.

Stony Brook is just minutes away from the beaches, restaurants, shopping and night life of Stony Brook town and Port Jefferson village. Stony Brook is also just a short train ride from New York City. An on-campus train station makes it safe and convenient to experience the rich culture, entertainment and history of Manhattan.
