FIRST YEAR APPLICANT DEADLINE
Stony Brook University offers many exciting and unique opportunities for your students. First year applicants are encouraged to complete their application to the University for the fall semester by our early action application deadline of October 15 to receive priority consideration for select academic programs and honors programs. Please note, October 15 is the application submission deadline, all supporting materials (letter of recommendation, transcripts, test scores) must be received by November 1.
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION DECISIONS
Early Action applicants will be notified by the end of January. 
Regular Decision applicants will be notified by the end of March. 
FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

High schools must send final, official transcripts of students enrolling at Stony Brook as soon as they are available to:

Group Tour Request

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group tour at Stony Brook University. Unfortunately, our Spring tours are currently full and we are no longer reviewing requests for any Spring 2024 tours. If you would like to put in a request for October-December 2024, we will open a request form in late Spring with a due date at the end of Summer.

In the meantime, we also have a web page for College Counselors for more resources as well as many other ways for you and your students to Experience SBU on their own. Thank you again and have a wonderful rest of your school year.
