To avoid lost or misdirected mail during your stay at Southampton, please DO NOT use:
- The Southampton Campus GPS address: 39 Tuckahoe Road, Southampton, NY 11968
- The main SBU campus residential address (Irving Warehouse, 100 Circle Road, Stony Brook, NY 11790-3607)
Mail/Letters/Packages
All mail is processed by our central mailroom Monday through Friday. You may get an email from your carrier saying it has arrived, but it has not been picked up at the Post Office or by our mail services. If you have an immediate need for your mail, please use local Amazon, UPS or FedEx pick-up locations for your convenience.
For Letters Only
Letters will be brought to the Fitness Center and an email notification will come from the fitness center attendant when ready for pick-up during the hours of the Fitness Center.
For Packages Only
Upon processing, you will receive an email when your mail is ready for pickup at the Student Center Pitney Bowes Lockers. You will then be able to scan the QR Code from no-reply@pb.com. Oversized packages will be brought to the Fitness Center, and an email notification will be sent by the fitness center attendant when they are ready for pick-up during the Fitness Center's hours.
Outgoing Mail
We now have outgoing mail in the Fitness Center and the Mailroom. If you wish to send stamped mail or postage-paid packages, you may leave them in the designated bin in the Fitness Center or in the mailroom during scheduled business hours.
