Summer Housing Assistants
(numerous positions available- open to all student levels)
Description: SHAs support the StudentLife, Summer Housing residents, and conference/summer guests to make sure that all guests’ housing needs are met. The SHA’s main duties are to prepare and organize various housing elements for conference groups and provide quality customer service.
Similar responsibilities as a Resident Assistant with a particular focus on our summer rental and conference events. They also assist with laundry and stripping/making beds in between groups.
No time off permitted during peak conference season (first three weeks of July).
Dates of Employment: May 19, 2025 to August 24, 2025
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours a week, primarily evening and weekend hours
Requirements: Enrolled Student (Summer or Fall)
Compensation: A single-room bed waiver for the duration of contract dates & availability of some paid hourly work throughout the week ($16.50)

Description: RAs are responsible for ensuring safe and welcoming conditions within the residence halls. RAs work to build inclusive communities through peer-to-peer interactions, programming, and communicative bulletin boards.
