Sensory Spaces
With 3 distinct locations, SASC’s Sensory Spaces offer all Stony Brook University students a place to relax, refocus, and recharge. The spaces include a variety of tools and resources to help manage sensory input, and its contents are regularly updated to meet student needs. Currently they include the following:
- Fidget toys and items
- Sensory seating options
- Sensory blankets and pillows
- Sensory artwork
- Ambient noise and lighting
- Earplugs and earmuffs
The Sensory Spaces are available for all Stony Brook Students, regardless of their affiliation with SASC.
West Campus:
Stony Brook Union 107
Open Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Tabler Community Center G01
Open Hours: 7 days a week from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM
Southampton Campus:
Fine Arts Building Room 131
Open Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
