The vast majority of our graduate students find employment in academic settings, medical settings, and major institutes, foundations, and/or organizations, where they conduct research, teach, and/or provide clinical services (for those graduating from the clinical program). Many of them are tenured/tenure-track professors and/or in leadership positions in the field.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION: The Psychology Department has a strong commitment to DEI. We have a Director of DEI who is an integral member of our departmental management team. The Director oversees our DEI committees, which focus on integrating diversity in research and teaching, mentoring of URM undergraduates, recruitment and retention of URM students, staff and faculty, as well as a diversity seminar required for all 1st year PhD students. Each committee is actively engaged in actionable initiatives and reports out to the department twice per year. Read more here.
