A suite of furnaces enables thermal processing in vacuum or selective gaseous environments. Tube furnaces allow for rapid processing up to 1800 °C for a versatile range of applications such as sintering, annealing, or thermally induced reactions. A range of muffle furnaces are equipped for baking, pyrolysis, or dehydration and similar reactions. A high vacuum furnace allows for processing up to 2000 °C in a <10⁻⁵ torr high vacuum environment. A graphitization furnace allows for conversion of amorphous carbonaceous materials into graphite at up to 3000 °C in an inert cover gas.
