• How do I sign up?
  Complete this Qualtrics form, available Wednesday, May 7, through Monday, June 2
• Will there be a training?

  Yes! We will host a kick-off event on Monday, June 30, 9:30am - 12:30pm in the Student Activities Center, Ballroom A. The schedule will be sent with the formal invitation on June 10.

  Individual program training will also be available in person and virtually; those dates will be available on May 12.

   

• Last summer, the staff got shirts. Are those being offered again?

  Yes! Staff who sign up to support New Seawolf Welcome can pick up an “Ask Me a Question” shirt.

  T-shirts are available for pickup

  • At the kick-off event on Monday, June 30, 9:30am - 12:30pm in the Student Activities Center, Ballroom A.
  • Monday, August 4 10am-2pm, Stony Brook Union 205-45
  • Tuesday, August 5 10am-2pm, Stony Brook Union 205-45

• Are meals provided?

  Yes and no. Staff are eligible for lunch on their volunteer date between Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22, and dinner on Saturday, August 23. 

• Will I get a calendar reminder?

  Yes! A New Seawolf Welcome Team member will send you a calendar event.

• What if I can no longer volunteer?

  Please email newstudentinfo@stonybrook.edu, and we will confirm with a cancellation email. 

  If it is the day of the event, please call your event lead. That information will be shared with you on Monday, August 4.
