I joined the office of Student Orientation and Family Programs in 2009. Prior to coming
to Stony Brook, I worked at Rutgers University in the areas of orientation and new
student programs. I completed my B.S. in Human Services, Education, and Public Policy

you at orientation!
Assistant Director of Student Orientation & Student Leadership
I am excited to have re-joined the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs in 2018! As a proud alumna of Stony Brook University, Class of 2013; B.A. in Sociology, coming back to SBU feels like coming home. Prior to returning to SBU, I worked at Providence College and John Carroll University in Residence Life. I earned my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. As a former OL, I'm honored to serve in this role, and to work with new students and Orientation Leaders as they transition into a new stage in their lives!
Coordinator of Family Programs & Services
I joined the Office of Student Orientation & Family Programs in 2019. Before starting my role as the Coordinator of Family Programs & Services, I worked as a Career Coach in the Stony Brook University Career Center. I received my M.S.W. in Social Welfare from SBU in 2013 with a specialization in Student Community Development. I completed my B.S. in Psychology at SUNY Oneonta where I first developed my love for higher education. I am excited to be working with parents and families to support their student as they transition into college!
Coordinator of Logistics
I am far beyond excited to rejoin the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs as the Coordinator of Orientation Logistics. In 2018, I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Stony Brook with concentrations in both Applied Math and Leadership Development, and worked as an Orientation Leader and Team Leader in this office throughout my undergraduate career. I also served as the office's Graduate Assistant later on. This upcoming year I will become a proud double-alumna of Stony Brook University, as I am finishing my Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration.
I am delighted to be a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs. In 2019, I received my Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Economics with a specialization in Finance from Stony Brook University. I have been a part of several organizations both on and off campus during my four years as an undergraduate. Furthermore, I am currently pursuing my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Stony Brook University.
I am excited to join the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs as an intern this summer! I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in student affairs at Slippery Rock University where I am a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership. Previously, I received my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Ohio University in 2019. This is where I had my first orientation experience and discovered a passion for student affairs.
I am so excited to be joining the Student Orientation and Family Programs team at Stony Brook University for the summer of 2020. I will be serving as one of the NODA interns, and I am currently enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin completing my Master's in Higher Education Leadership. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2019, where I served as an orientation leader and orientation team leader. I cannot wait to get more experience with orientation at a university like Stony Brook, and I am looking forward to working alongside the orientation leaders, professional staff, and new students and families!
