I am excited to have re-joined the Office of New Student Programs in 2018! As a proud alumna of Stony Brook University, Class of 2013; B.A. in Sociology, coming back to SBU feels like coming home. Prior to returning to SBU, I worked at Providence College and John Carroll University in Residence Life. I earned my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. As a former OL, I'm honored to serve in this role, and to work with new students and Orientation Leaders as they transition into a new stage of their lives!
Coordinator of Family Programs & Services
I joined the Office of New Student Programs in 2019. Before starting my role as the Coordinator of Family Programs & Services, I worked as a Career Coach in the Stony Brook University Career Center. I received my M.S.W. in Social Welfare from SBU in 2013 with a specialization in Student Community Development. I completed my B.S. in Psychology at SUNY Oneonta where I first developed my love for higher education. I am excited to be working with parents and families to support their student as they transition into college!
Coordinator of Logistics
I am far beyond excited to rejoin the Office of New Student Programs as the Coordinator of Orientation Logistics. In 2018, I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Stony Brook with concentrations in both Applied Math and Leadership Development, and worked as an Orientation Leader and Team Leader in this office throughout my undergraduate career. I also served as the office's Graduate Assistant later on. This upcoming year I will become a proud double-alumna of Stony Brook University, as I am finishing my Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration.
I’m so happy to be able to join the Office of New Student Programs this Spring as a Graduate Coordinator. I graduated from Marist College in 2020 with a Masters of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Global Studies. I’m currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration here at SBU. After one transfer, two semesters abroad, and starting grad school, I’ve participated in 5 orientations, so I’m super excited to bring my experiences to the team!
I am thrilled to join the New Student Programs team this summer as one of two NODA Graduate Interns! I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education from DePaul University (2019) and am currently pursuing an M.Ed. in College Counseling and Student Development at North Carolina State University. My background includes instruction, admissions, curriculum development, career counseling, and first-year experience programming. From first graders to first year students, I love working to ensure happy, healthy, and safe transitions for all and am psyched to welcome new Seawolves!
I am very happy to be able to join the Office of New Student Programs this summer as a NODA Intern! I am a current student at Bowling Green State University, pursuing my Masters's Degree in College Student Personnel. I previously received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz where I was an Orientation Leader. I am looking forward to working with students and their families this summer.
