I am excited to have re-joined the Office of New Student & Transition Programs in 2018! As a proud alumna of Stony Brook University, Class of 2013; B.A. in Sociology, coming back to SBU feels like coming home. Prior to returning to SBU, I worked at Providence College and John Carroll University in Residence Life. I earned my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. As a former OL, I'm honored to serve in this role, and to work with new students and Orientation Leaders as they transition into a new stage of their lives!

I joined the Office of New Student & Transition Programs in 2019. Before starting my role as the Coordinator of New Student Programs, I worked as a Career Coach in the Stony Brook University Career Center. I received my M.S.W. in Social Welfare from SBU in 2013 with a specialization in Student Community Development. I completed my B.S. in Psychology at SUNY Oneonta where I first developed my love for higher education. I am excited to be working with parents and families to support their student as they transition into college!

Returning to Stony Brook is extremely exciting as I join New Student & Transition Programs where my skills and experience will support office logistics and encourage student achievement. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stony Brook and functioned  as the Liberty Partnerships Program Director for eighteen years. I’m excited to serve as the Coordinator of New Student Programs and offer my professional experience to this newly developed program.

I am excited to be joining the Stony Brook New Student Programs this summer as a NODA intern. I graduated from Hofstra University in 2020 with my Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a triple minor, and am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration at The University of Vermont. Being able to return to Orientation for the summer fills my cup, and I hope to make a lasting impact on the students that my NODA interns had on me!
