Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities
Office Support
Volunteer at the OLLI at SBU office alongside our fabulous staff and student assistants.
Office support volunteers will greet visitors with a warm smile and assist the office with clerical needs and event set up.
OLLI Photographers
Help OLLI be picture perfect!
Are you a photographer with your own camera? Are you interested in capturing OLLI events and happenings? If you become an OLLI photographer, your work will be shared with the membership as part of our digital and print publications throughout the year.
Event Assistant
Expand your social circle!
If you’re organized and enjoy meeting new people, volunteer as an event assistant. You will greet participants, provide information, make phone calls, and assist with other duties at events.
Virtual Workshop Assistant
Workshop leaders need your help!
Volunteer to support our virtual workshop leaders on Zoom - admitting people when they join, making sure the audio and video settings are ready to go before the workshop starts, sharing screens for the workshop leaders and various other virtual support activities.
Technology Support
Are you tech savvy?
The OLLI at SBU office needs assistance to train our members on how to operate Zoom, set up their emails, connect to the WIFI, and other technology-related issues.
