The Arts Committee supports a broad view of artistic expression, promotes and organizes
activities that showcase members' creative abilities.

Arts Committee Chairperson
The Curriculum Committee proposes and establishes curriculum policy, develops new curricula, recruits and trains new workshop leaders, and evaluates the effectiveness of workshops and other curricular activities each semester.

Co-Chairperson: Ella Nyc — ellanyc@icloud.comThe Finance Committee monitors the budget and works with the OLLI Program Director and the SPD designee to identify program needs and to develop the annual operating budget. The annual budget will be submitted to the Executive Council for approval.
Membership fees shall be decided jointly by the OLLI Program Director, Executive Council and Finance Committee.
The Chair of the Finance Committee shall report the financial status of OLLI at Executive Council and General Membership meetings.
At the end of the fiscal year, the Finance Committee would present the budget numbers to the actual income and expense numbers and report those findings to the Executive Council and the general members.

The Marketing Committee contributes to the development of marketing strategies and the implementation of marketing activities/events to spread awareness and understanding of the OLLI program. The committee reviews and contributes to the development of marketing materials, consistent with the guidelines of Stony Brook University. The committee works to develop relationships within the University and with outside agencies, as appropriate. The committee promotes a diverse and engaged membership that is characterized by mutual respect and collaboration among members and with the OLLI staff.

The OLLI Times Magazine is the premier publication of the Stony Brook OLLI. It features member-submitted articles, interviews,
art and photography that showcase their many talents. The OLLI Times is produced by
our members to fulfill our vision: To inform, illuminate, inspire and invite OLLI
members to participate more fully in all aspects of the program.

The Travel & Leisure Committee organizes and promotes a variety of cultural and educational activities on and off the Stony Brook campus, evaluates such activities, and makes recommendations for future activities. Past trips have included visits to Gracie Mansion, Radio City Music Hall, the Frick Collection, Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and many more.
