Attendance Tracking

Almost as important as creating and planning your event, tracking who is coming is essential to knowing if all your planning was worth it! SBEngaged offers different ways to track attendance. Explore the various options for attendance tracking below:

Mobile Check-In Instructions

From the CampusGroups home screen, if you are the event organizer or officer for your group page, you can click the event and see "Check In Attendees" in the bottom left-hand corner. No event code is required; permission for checking in events is dictated by the officers of the group.

Upon clicking the Check-In Attendees Button, your event's Attendance List will pop up; the screen provides drop-downs for all who have registered and their check-in status, who checked in, and who has not checked in.

Use the search field in the Attendance List to locate specific attendees. If someone has not registered, tap Register on the spot. This is a great way to streamline check-in for larger events.

Organizers of events can scan attendees in real time as well with the Scan QR function, found in the upper right-hand corner of your mobile device. Attendees will be able to show their SBEngaged ID Card to scan, where their unique identification can be scanned into the Check-In section of the attendance list.

To scan, point your camera on your device at the attendee's ID card that can be found on their app. Scanning outcomes include:
- - Checked In
    
    Invalid or Error
    
    Already Checked In
    
    Not Allowed: Registration did not happen for the attendee prior to the event or because RSVP at the Door was not enabled.
