Internship Opportunities at Southampton

Internships allow students to explore potential career choices, to earn college credits via MAR 488, and sometimes to even get paid. There are many organizations close to the Southampton campus that accept interns during the fall, spring, and summer. Be aware that, since the organizations are usually off campus, students will likely need to provide their own transportation.

To pursue an internship, first read through the organization and internship links below, and then contact the internship coordinator at the organization. To pursue internship credits, read through the MAR 488 Internship Agreement Form and send your prospectus to Kurt Bretsch, or another SoMAS faculty member who will serve as your Instructor of Record.

The Stony Brook University Internship Equity Fund offers financial support to undergraduate students participating in unpaid credit-bearing internship/research experiences.
