MATTOO CENTER CELEBRATES 25 YEARS!
April 26, 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the inauguration of the Center for India Studies, now the Bishembernath & Sheela Mattoo Center for India Studies. From the early days as a response to a student initiative to bring India-related courses into the curriculum, the Center has grown into an internationally recognized resource serving campus and community.
We will soon announce events to celebrate this milestone – and we hope you will celebrate with us.

News & Events

The Ludo and Rosane Rocher Foundation is pleased to announce the competition for the first Ludo and Rosane Rocher Foundation (Post-doctoral) In-Residence Teaching and Research Fellowship in Classical Indology. For application forms and details of the terms, eligibility, possibility of renewal, and further information, please visit the Foundation website.
Applications are due no later than January 16, 2023. Results of the competition will be announced on or about April 3, 2023.

MATTOO CENTER HOURS
The Center will be open this semester (Fall 2022) and we welcome you to visit and to use the Center's library.

In accordance with the unversity's Covid guidance, visitors must wear masks and we ask you to maintain distance from others while in the Center.  If you are not feeling well, please do not visit.
