Jodi Zarkovich

Josephine Zarkovich is a curator, writer, and art historian based in Queens, New York. Currently a PhD student in Art History and Criticism at Stony Brook University, her research centers on contemporary American art with a focus on artists coming out of queer exhibitions and spaces during the late 1980s and early 1990s. She holds a MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts and served as curator for Linfield Gallery and Disjecta Contemporary Art Center. Her writing has been published by the Brooklyn Rail, Oregon Visual Arts Ecology, and CUE Art Foundation.
