SBU Graduate Program in Physics and Astronomy

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook offers a diverse program and consistently ranks amongst the best and largest in the country. Students can pursue PhD, MSI, and MA degrees, and a new Master’s degree in Quantum Information Science and Technology, taking high quality courses and performing exciting research. We are proud of producing over 1000 PhD graduates in less than 50 years.
